Kashmir! When Will Your Silent Pain End?
Writter: Muneeb ul Islam
Kashmir…
The valley once known for its beauty and blooming seasons,
Now reeks of blood and sorrow.
Those children, who should have books in their hands,
Now clutch the shrouds of funerals.
The mothers, who once lulled their babies to sleep with lullabies,
Now scream in agony, their tears louder than their words.
The fathers, whose dreams once gleamed like the morning sun,
Now wander in darkness, searching for the bodies of their sons.
But why?
What is their crime?
Is it because they are Kashmiris?
Is it because they long for peace?
The world remains silent,
Global powers act blind,
And humanity… has lost its way.
Every falling tear,
Every shattered dream,
Every buried body,
Asks us all one question:
"Are you truly human?"
Every drop of blood spilled in Kashmir
Is mourning our indifference.
Now is the time to break the silence,
To raise our voices,
To shake the conscience of the world and say:
Enough is enough!
Let Kashmir live!
Stop the slaughter of the innocent!
Revive humanity once again!
